Battlefield 2142 adalah Game Ber-Genre First-Person Shooter yang di kembangkan oleh Digital Illusions CE (DICE) dan diproduksi oleh Electronic Arts (EA).Battlefield 2142 adalah game keempat dari Serial Battlefield.BF2142 di set di abad 22,saat zaman es baru dimana memperlihatkan dua kekuatan yaitu European Union (EU) dan Pan Asian Coalition (PAC).Tujuan mereka adalah berperang untuk kelangsungan hidup.

Battlefield 2142 di desain utama untuk multiplayer yang meperbolehkan 64 pemain di server dan 16 pemain di single player.Battlefield 2142 mempunyai sistem ranking yang tersendiri untuk tetap menjaga status user.Sistem ini juga pernah di gunakan oleh pendahulu dari permainan ini yaitu Battlefield 2.
